“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof…” (From the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution)
It says that “Congress shall make no law…” It does not say that a local government cannot display the Ten Commandments. It does not say that public school students cannot sing a song that mentions the name of God. It does not say that there can be no prayer before a football game or a graduation program. It does not say that “religion,” primarily Christianity, must be excluded from public life in the United States. It does not say that the name of Jesus Christ is appropriate only when used as a cuss word. And to the surprise of many, it does not say "separation of church and state."

It does say that “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion…” Congress has not done that, nor does it appear to have any intention of doing that, at least not at present. This amendment was obviously designed not to protect people from religion but to protect the church from the government.
It does say that “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof…” This is the part of the amendment that many would like to do away with, because Christianity has become “politically incorrect” to some in our current culture. Such people hold to an obvious double standard, and it is time for their anti-God, anti-Christian, anti-Truth philosophy to be seen for what it really is, and it is time for such nonsense to simply be ignored rather than be given any credibility whatsoever.
The way things have developed the only way we will be able to have our liberty is to use it, be taken to court and pray that the Supremes have read their Constitution lately.

We are losing our constitution.
